Any inexpensive low carb recipes? - inexpensive diabetic shoes

My husband is diabetic and we are both overweight. We have a very limited budget. Has anyone a carbohydrate-cheap, but they share very little? I am not looking for links to recipes low in carbohydrates, I would really use recipes, maybe something you've done it both economical and delicious. Thank you!
